I flew with Boyce Bingham while we were both stationed in the Republic of Panama, \'84 to \'87. I learned a great deal about flying from Boyce. He is absolutely one of the finest pilots I have ever known. Boyce\'s breadth of aviation experience is vast, varied and matched by few, if any. He has an easy going approach to instructing. To fly with, or learn from Boyce is to fly with or learn from absolutely very best there is, and on top of that, Boyce is as fine a man/friend as they come.

When asked who my flight instructor is, I announce with pride, \"Boyce Bingham!\" I\'m nearing completion of basic flight training with \"Bing\" and have to say that mere dollars won\'t ever repay what he\'s done for me. Learning to fly has been a lifetime ambition and Bing has made the experience not only thorough and complete, but interesting, enlightening and downright enjoyable! He brings vast aeronautical experience and mixes in a little philosophy and a dash of humor to create a marvelous learning environment. WARNING TO ALL WHO READ THIS: FLYING IS ADDICTING!!! I was able to log a little less than 20hrs with Boyce and flew my first SOLO flight after 10.6hrs. I eat breathe and sleep flying now, its all I think about. But to be able to get up in the sky over Juneau, Gustavus and the surrounding area was amazing. Total freedom is the best way I can describe it. Boyce is a great trainer and instructor and the level of safety has always made me feel at ease. I am constantly learning something new and receiving what he calls good habits and ideas to have for the future. He is patient and truly knows flying and how to teach it. I can\'t wait to finish this process and get my Private pilots license. Then move on to a commercial all with ASA Flying too. To anyone thinking of learning to fly Juneau is the spot to do it and Bing is the guy to learn from. His experience and professionalism will have you feeling safe and the scenery will have you mesmerized and wanting more. Seth
